Rules of the Library

Every Students irrespective of Pass/Honours will get 3 cards after their admission in the First Year. Cards must be updated in each year. In order to obtain/updation of the Library Card You have to bring the following things

• Four (4) Recent Stamp Size Photographs

• Fees Book

1.Home Issue Card ( Two Books/Journals will be issued for 15 days and may be renewed for the next 7 days only .

2. Daily Issue Card (Two/Three Books will be issued for using within the college premise and have to returned onthe same day .

3. Book Bank Card (One Book will be issued for 4 weeks and there will be no renewal .

4. Home Issue Slip-write down the detail of the book you want to issue and leave within the chosen book and leave it in the circulation counter (Accession No.,Title of the Book, Author etc.)

Library Timing

Library Opens on 10:00 A.M. and Closes on 4:30 P.M. (Monday -Friday)

»Book Selection by the students for Home Issue (Library is absolutely open-access i.e.,any student can go inside the library and choose their books)-10:00 A.M. -1:00 P.M.

»Library Recess time -1:30 P.M. -2:00 P.M.

»Book Issue Time-2:00 P.M-4:30P.M.

»Book Return Timing-10:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

Library Opens on 10:00 A.M. and Closes on 1:30 P.M. (Saturday)

»Book Selection by the students for Home Issue (Library is absolutely open-access i.e.,any student can go inside the library and choose their books)-10:00 A.M. -12:00 P.M.

»Book Issue Time-12:30 P.M-1:30P.M. (only LAST COPY books are issued for returning by the immediate Monday)

»No Return on Saturday

Your library is also the institutional member of

British Council Library (BCL)

American library (AL)

Any students Pass/Honours can borrow BCL/AL card from the library for 4 weeks but not two cards at the same time. Against each BCL/AL Card , one student can issue 2 books and 1 journal/Educational CD/DVD from the British Council Library as well as from the American Library.

Overdue Charges ( Library Fine)

1. For Home issue Card @ 1 Rs./Day

2. For Daily Issue Card @ 3 Rs./Day

3. For Book Bank Card @ 1 Rs./Day

4. For BCL/ALCard @ 2 Rs./Day
