College at a glance
In 1986 at the time of establishment the college only had 6 Pass Courses and 6 teachers. Today the college offers 8 Major and 9 Minor subjects as per NEP 2020. There are 9 full time teachers, a librarian and 21 SACTs. The library which started with a small collection of books is now housed on the entire first floor of a separate building and computerized. The updated and automated library has a collection of 15911 books under the care of a full-time librarian. Along with lending facilities there are journals and newspapers for the students. Separate Reading Rooms are available for students and teachers. There is an open air platform “Jamini Roy Mukta Mancha” and a seminar hall with ICT facilities. The college also has a smart classroom and ICT facilities in other classrooms. Drinking water facilities, cycle stand, canteen, NCC and NSS are present in the college. Girls Common Room with Ladies' Vending Machine, Boys Common Room, Netaji Subhas Open University Study Centre, WEBEL Computer Training Centre facilities are available.
