Institutional Development Plan
Professional development/administrative training programmes like Orientation/Faculty Induction Programmes and Refresher Courses are in the domain of UGC Human Resource Development Centres in different universities and not within the jurisdiction of colleges in the current system. Moreover, the affiliating university i.e., Bankura University is a new university functioning from 2016. This is why they have not been able to establish any UGC HRD Centre yet. Therefore, the college may at best encourage eligible members of the faculty to join FIPs and RCs organised by universities in the country where such UGC HRD Centres are there to offer such courses.
In the context of non-teaching staff however there are several important softwares running in the college for office software, admission software, library and Learning Management System. For each of these softwares the concerned staffs have been trained to handle them by the companies from which they have been purchased. E-Pension & Swami Vivekananda Scholarship programmes are running on Govt. Softwares. The staffs who are currently handling those programmes were sent to attend the Govt. Programme where training was provided in Kolkata.
